Sylvester Stallone’s campaign to revive 80’s action continues with his latest movie, The Expendables.
Stallone’s meathead fest is less original than a turkey sandwich. And the plot isn’t any different. It’s flatter than an astronaut in a trouser press. Then there’s the acting – if you can call it that.

The martial arts action-adventure, Ninja, is one of the funniest films I’ve seen in years. It’s funnier than Karate Kid would have been had Danny Devito been cast in the role of Daniel Son.
As the end credits rolled, the laughs dissolved to giggles, the giggles to calm. More »
